Description：
HH-AN5 Alkylated Naphthalene is Group V API base oil. With the increasing high-performance requirements for lubricants, the engineers have change the formulation with Class I base oils to class II, Class III, GTL base oils or even higher class IV base oils. However, these high-end base oils have low polarity and are less solubility with additives, so alkylated naphthalene ANs is a good solution for the above problems. Alkylated naphthalene ANs base oils have been commercialized for more than two decades. HH-AN5 can be used in engine oils, grease,hydraulic fluids,gear oils, compressor oils.

The main reason for the excellent performances of Alkylated Naphthalene base oil is the structure containing electron naphthalene ring.The lower aniline point of Alkylated Naphthalene base oils results in the stronger polarity, which can have the better solubility of the additive.The stronger polarity results in the greater impact on the sealing materials.
The aniline point of AN5 is only 30-32℃, indicating that AN5 has a very good solubility of additives.
