Description:

HH-PAO V1000 is Ultra-High Viscosity Metallocene PAO base oil with excellent shear

stability and high low-temperature performance. It have excellent performances when being used as viscosity index improver(VII) in engine oils.

 

PAO usually has the following performances:

1. High viscosity index (usually bigger than 135)  viscosity index of PAO are usually higher than 135, while mineral base oils usually have 85-90, and VI of the refined mineral base oils are usually about 95. The base oils with higher refinement degrees, such as Class III and VI Base Oil are generally around 120.

2. Low pour point and good low-temperature fluidity

PAO has better low-temperature fluidity than mineral oils. PAO can blend into the lubricants with various high low-temperature requirements.

3. Oxidation stability

in RBOT test, the time of the pressure dropping of high quality PAO (poly α-olefin synthetic base oil) is 3 ~ 4 times longer than Class II hydrogenation base oils, and 1.5 ~ 2 times than Class III deeply hydrogenation base oils

4. Low volatility

High oil evaporation will increase the consumption and converse the catalyst poisoning. The low volatility of base oils becomes an important factor.

5. The thermal stability

PAO has anti-high temperature performance and less decomposition and have equal thermal stability with diesters, better than mineral oils and Alkyl aromatics,and the mixture of PAO and polyol ester have good thermal stability.

6. Excellent shear stability

8. Good compatibility with the mineral oils

9. Good compatibility with the oil sealing
